These terms govern your use of Essentialist. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Acceptance
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to create an account or submit a listing.
Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information, and keep your listing details current.
Listings & reviews
- Anyone may add a business, and listings go live without manual vetting. Accuracy relies on the owner and on community reviews.
- Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We remove fake, paid, or abusive reviews.
- We may edit, decline, or remove any listing that breaches these terms or that is reported as inaccurate.
No pay-to-rank
Position in the index is earned through real reviews and recency. Paid plans add features and visibility tools, but money never buys a ranking position.
Acceptable use
- Do not post unlawful, misleading, or harmful content.
- Do not scrape, copy, or republish the directory without permission.
- Do not impersonate a business or claim a listing you do not own.
Content & intellectual property
You keep ownership of content you submit, and grant us a licence to display it on the directory. The Essentialist name, design, and compiled index remain ours.
Liability
Essentialist is a directory, not a party to any booking or transaction between you and a professional. We provide the service “as is” and are not liable for the conduct, quality, or availability of any listed business.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a fresh “last updated” date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
